What a pleasure — and what an honour.
Teacher website · www.p4th.beWith more than 30 years of experience in software development, I felt it was time to share what I know with young people. What could be more honourable than doing so as a computer science teacher at the Athénée Royal de Florennes.
In 2025, I had the pleasure of teaching computer science to students from year 1 to year 6, as well as DASPA students. That rich experience taught me a great deal — especially that by taking small steps, with a Scrum / Agile approach, you can build complex, ambitious things.
Step by step, they delivered real projects — and, above all, developed a way of working: analyse, understand, and keep a critical mind.
The most important outcome was not only the deliverable: it was learning to analyse, understand, and think critically.
Among so many strong moments, I want to highlight two students whose instincts still resonate today.
Bénédict already talked to me about Chatouille while talking about ChatGPT — the desire to compare, question, and better understand what AI proposes.
Discover the Chatouille appMaé kept looking for ways to “go faster” — that drive for efficiency that pushes you to organise work better and progress through iterations.
Analyse, understand, and make decisions. P4th Academy extends that conviction: pass on a method, a passion, and the skills to build with clarity in an agentic world.
Discover Chatouille ↗My experience: digitising temporary staffing companies — and keeping www.pepper1.be alive.
I want to take students through their year’s programme, strengthen the essentials they need to master, and show the enormous variety of the IT ecosystem — especially in the development option.
My goal: success, motivation, and passion for the students.
