1. Controller

When Pepper1.io SARL (Casablanca) is involved in a project, Pepper1 remains the contact for questions about this website. Data is shared with that entity only if needed for the request concerned.

2. Data we collect

Through the contact form we may receive your name, work email, company, topic and message.

Through the challenge / brief form we may also receive your role, a description of work tasks, estimated time, the chosen profile and an optional note.

If you write to us directly (mailto), we process the information you choose to send.

We do not ask for special-category data through the site. Please do not include health, biometric, judicial or other particularly protected information.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Answering an enquiry, quote, demo, trial or training request — pre-contractual steps or legitimate interest in handling a professional request.
• Following up on a conversation you started — legitimate interest.
• Meeting a legal obligation (accounting, evidence) where it applies.
• Remembering your language preference (strictly necessary local storage) — legitimate interest / a technical measure required for the service.

4. Recipients

Messages are handled by the Pepper1 team. Forms are submitted through the site’s ingest infrastructure, then to our internal mail tools.

We do not sell your data. Technical providers (hosting, email) may access it solely to operate the service, under instructions and appropriate security measures.

5. Retention

Contact requests and briefs are kept for as long as needed to reply, then for up to 3 years after the last useful exchange, unless a longer legal duty or an ongoing contract applies.

You may ask for earlier deletion, subject to retention obligations.

6. Cookies and local storage

The site does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics tools.

Local storage may remember the language you chose (pepper1-locale). Session storage may keep a pre-launch site preview (pepper1-preview-full). These are strictly necessary for the site to work.

7. Transfers

Site data is processed mainly in the European Union. If an assignment involves Pepper1.io SARL in Morocco, a transfer may take place for that purpose only, with appropriate safeguards.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability where it applies, and object to processing based on legitimate interest.

To exercise these rights, write to info@pepper1.be and state your request. We may need to verify your identity before answering.

9. Security

Pepper1 applies reasonable measures to protect messages received (restricted access, professional mail, site hosting). No system is risk-free; please do not send secrets or highly confidential files through a web form.
